of our day, including Robert Jastrow and Stephen Hawking.

2. Job Opportunities in Beijing, China
One of my clients is an American company who has 17 joint
ventures in China. They are looking for candidates to fit in the
following positions:
1. General Manager for an auto part joint venture in Beijing. This
factory has 3000 employees. Their major product is diesel fuel injection
pumps. The American company has invested 600 million RMB to this
factory. The basic qualifications of the GM are:
· Has very strong leadership skills
· had general manager’s experience in American auto industry before
· Mechanical engineering or automotive engineering education background
· age between 35~52
2. Financial controller for their China headquarters (Beijing).
The basic qualifications are:
· Has very strong leadership skills
· Had a working experience as a financial controller or financial manager
· Has overseas working experience or education background
· Capable to assist company VP in financial strategy development and
planning, as well as daily operation
· Familiar with financial management of auto factories
3. Export Manager at their China headquarters (Beijing).
The basic qualifications are:
· Has very strong leadership skills with a managerial experience
· Has overseas working experience or education background
· understand exporting regulation and policies both in US and in China
· knowledgeable in mechanical engineering or auto parts
This company prefers male candidates for all of these positions. Their
nationality and their race are not an issue, if they can speak good
English and Chinese. This company will offer an attractive compensation
package for qualified candidates. This company is potentially looking
for a vice president for their auto parts group. I believe Detroit is a
place to have most qualified candidates. For some early retirement GM,
Food and Chrysler managers, this may be an opportunity to continue their
