The China Global Design Centre Leader is responsible for all aspects of establishing and running S&C¡¯s new Global Design Centre. The responsibility requires the Site Leader to be a key member of the S&C China Design Centre task team. The task team is required to establish an operating Design Centre by first quarter by Q2 2006 and bringing it to first phase operational status by Q4 2006. Once the Site Leader has established phase 1 operational status he/she will require to support the Global Engineering Product Line leaders to execute AOP and Strap commitments. The site leader will also be responsible for successful planning and implementation of phase 2 which will include the transfer of one of S&C¡¯s major product line Design CoEs and its associated engineering support teams. The China design centre will be part of the S&C Technology leadership team and work closely with all the team to deliver the technology objectives. He/she will work particularly closely with the Indian Global Design Centre in Bangalore to ensure sharing of best practice of our EMR Design Centres. The China Global Design Centre leader will also be an integral member of the Asia-Pacific PAC.
